COUNTDOWN TO ALBUM: #1: UPCOMING

Released in november 4th in 2013, UPCOMING is the lead single from the new album ''INKS: The First Drink''.

The song is about autor insecurities with his own future in music and love and being stuck in the past, despite of being stuck in memories and scars he dares the world saying to himself, let's turn the radioactivity  from the past off and let's face our future with a smile. Arias say that this song became his connection with the future.

FACTS:

• ''The song were the first work by Arias and Vargas together''.
• At first the song were called ''Still Rock At Nights'' but finally in the production of the song, Vargas said that 'Poetry and Darkness' was a cool name than the first option.
• According to Arias the song is about 'Being afraid of the world and the music but letting the world guides you to a complementent, living with the natural Poetry and acepting the Darkness as a beautiful part of Poetry and specially of the Poet'. Also said about the song: 'Bryan is the Darkness while I am the poetry in the song, but when we are out of the songs he is funny and shiny while I am just the usual boy behind the lyrics, that's all, we are a cool team'.
• Arias planed to release 'Shut Up and Listen' as the 5th promotional, however 'P&D' were leaked at ReverbNation and finally uploaded one week before at soundcloud.

She (Wanna Be Happy)

'She (Wanna Be Happy)' is a song produced at first in spanish by Jorge Arias and Wilmer Garcia named as 'Caminos por Batallar' for a personal project of Garcia. Was included as a Bonus Track of INKS: The First Drink in english version worked and first recorded in july of 2014.

BACKGROUND AND CONCEPT
The spanish version according to Arias was about being sick of dengue and dying young for a sickness that has a solution. The english version also called as the album version is about a young emotional girl that can't control herself.

''I was a little like her, she was so fine, so like a little girl that is happy but suddenly being a teenager remake her whole life, now she's looking to be happy despite being around lies and big dreams, but I know she can be happy''.

A video for the spanish demo was recorded in 2013 and released with the demo vocals of Garcia.

Experience (''XPERIENCE'') is a song wrote by Jorge Arias for his album INKS, produced in 2014. The song appear in the album as the fourth promotional recording and the second promotional ft. Christian Tirado. The song was recorded in april of 2014 like all the album songs in home and was released in may 30th to celebrate the fisrt year of last debut single by Arias ''Next Station''.

Shower

Shower is a song included on the upcoming album by Jorge Arias and the IMG/ING, 'INKS'. Shower has wrote on Feb of 2014 and is now the main option to be release as the second single or as the third promotional single. The song has been modified of the original idea in the music style and the album version to be release is in sunshine and sadcore style.

BACKGROUND AND CONCEPT

''Shower is really important in this project because every single INK would be a good tatto after a long and clean shower when you sing your songs and cry for your mistakes the only rule of this practice is that before you take it, you will try to be someone new, the shower is not the usual daily activity, the shower is an spiritual connection with your future''...

The lyrics are really connected to one special friend in the progress of the album according to Arias, ''Andres Garcia is a poet too, he is really artistic and always support me, He always now how to make a thought an artistic idea and the part of 'Storms of Me' is from one text he wrote''.

Other Color

''Other Color'' is the second promotional song from the album 'INKS' by Jorge Arias. The song was released in the original acoustic version in january 27 at the official Arias Soundcloud profile with a little description. It was released before the album INKS in 2014, but was included on the David Bowie tribute from Jorge Arias called 'Am I a Good David Bowie?'.

The song is available now at this link, and could have a promotional vision/video without date.

PRODUCTION, LYRICS AND BACKGROUND

Arias decided to make a new album in september of 2013, he was looking for the tools to start recordings and the first included on the project was Wilmer Garcia who worked with Arias in two records from Dark Of Me; Arias showed a first concept to Garcia for the general album and in the homemade studio Wilmer said to Arias he wanted to make a song about that concept, about the new color, the new xperience, so in december Arias wrote the song and produced it with Garcia at IMG. The released version was recorded in january and was recorded at same time that the spanish version of the song, ''Un Nuevo Color''.

THE ACOUSTIC ALBUM AND THE ELECTROC ALBUM

With the release of Other Color as second promotional song there were something new. Arias wanted to make and indietroc album so different of the previous work, Dark Of Me, but he decided to make the album with the usual tools, UPCOMING was released in two versions and it's clear that the acoustic version included on INKS is better than the remix, so Arias knew that IMG is better on the guitars side. Other Color only will have the guitar versions like other confirmed songs: 'Give Me A Smile', 'SEX'. Etc.

ART AND VIDEO

The Artwork for Other Color was edited by Arias and was shooted in the january 18 Glee Colombia practice with the Arias cell-phone. The Art was upload to facebook fan page of Arias one day before the song.

About the video, it will be so strange and inusual to an official video, it has not official release date, and even is now on recording it is not confirmed to be released according to the IMG and ING.

had for the new album, all about the colors and artistic future, and when we started to work

we'll propuse to the world in the new material and we did it but finally we have the english version to be release as the second promotional song/single from the new album, so I just have some days to make it perfect in the progresive and poetic echo style we have and I will upload it''.
